Section 1: Planning - The Nerve Center from Order to Task
Taking the production of the KBZ-type submersible drainage pump as an example, the detailed workflow is as follows:
Order Reception & Validation: After a sales contract for KBZ series pumps is approved via the OA System, it is formally converted into a valid production requirement. Planners then create a production order (e.g., "KBZ33.7 Submersible Pump") in the system, specifying key details such as specifications, quantity, special configurations, and delivery date.
Task Breakdown & Distribution: This production order is automatically distributed to relevant departments: the Engineering Department (for drawings and process preparation), the Procurement Department (for purchasing components like matching motors and seals), the Production Department, and the Quality Inspection Department. This marks the official launch of the specialized planning directive for this batch of pumps.
System Synchronization & Scheduling: The core order information is synchronized to the ERP System. Based on the product's Bill of Materials (BOM), the ERP performs Material Requirements Planning (MRP), generates procurement proposals, and creates specific processing and assembly work orders for the Production Department, taking into account capacity and material availability.
Execution Control & Feedback: The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) receives work orders from the ERP for KBZ pump processing, assembly, painting, etc., becoming the "field commander" for shop floor execution. It tracks the processing progress of each pump in real-time, collects test data (e.g., performance testing, insulation testing), and monitors equipment status at key process stages.
Closure & Delivery: Once all KBZ pumps complete final assembly, testing, and are reported as finished goods into inventory via the MES, the ERP inventory is updated in real-time. Finally, based on the shipping plan, the outbound delivery process for this batch is completed within the ERP system, forming a closed loop from planning to fulfillment.
Through the seamless integration of three core systems—OA (Process Flow), ERP (Resource Flow), and MES (Execution Flow)—we achieve "one unified plan and one continuous execution line" for the production of KBZ series pumps and other products. This ensures high-speed, accurate information flow, laying a solid foundation for flexible production and rapid market response.
